I got these to wear on vacation. They were super comfy and dried quickly. I wanted to walk the beach but didn't want to run the risk of stepping on shells or losing my shoes to a sudden wave. These worked out perfectly. Although I bought my size, they felt a little loose. I have wide feet so that is a new one for me. Usually I have to size up to get regular shoes to fit. From what I have read, you want them to fit a little snug so you don't run the risk of losing them in the water. You will still get sand in your shoes. But you can go from the beach to shopping the local store with no problem. Way better than flip flops, which you run the risk of walking out of and no annoying squeaking noise when you walk. I will probably give these to my mother who has bigger feet than me and buy myself another pair.

I do like the laces. Much easier to work with, than traditional tie-up laces.
